Description:
He stands at 5'3" and weighs about 98 pounds. Even though he is smaller then the rest, he is very agile while on the move and is faster then what he seems to be. His body is meant mostly for endurance and to move. His hair is a dark gray color and his irises is a Bright Amber color. The skin color is pale, but has a very slight tan. He was a strong male and was able to hold his own against the others until after the accident which left him in the Intensive Care unit. His torso, legs, arms, his jaw and around his neck are covered in scars from an explosion. When outside of his Division room, he will be seen wearing a Black half mask that covers from his nose down to his neck. It was specially made by 12th Division for when he is about to drink or eat, it will open up enough for him to do so only showing his lips by him sliding his index finger across the section that covers either the right or left side cheek. But while he is inside his division, he will be seen wearing a white mask that has the black outline of the jaw and the neck skull/bones. His uniform is a bit different as his upper body part of the uniform looks more towards of a military style that an officer would wear. It's a little loose so he has full motion and is able to react as needed. His pants are baggy and flared out greatly near the bottom of the leggings of the Hakama. On his hands, he wears a pair of tight fitting black leather gloves. Everyday, he is usually in pain, so he has to take different medications to try and dull the pain down. Most of the time, the Medication does it's job to make the pain into a dull ache, but other times the pains is just lessened by a sliver.

But when he does have to interact with others, he will be kind and gentle to those that seek him out. Pain pulses through him from his old injuries which causes him to be spiteful to those that are "Normal" looking while he is alone in his quarters in the Kidou Tower. At night time and he is alone in his office, he would just get angry and throws things about from the pain. When morning time comes, he will have it all cleaned up and depending, things replaced.

Description:
-Sealed:
His Zanpaktou would be the form of a Tanto/ Japaneses Dagger. The wrapping around the handle would be a Chestnut brown color. He choose the Tanto design for he would rather not get into a melee match with someone and if he had no other choice, he would rather keep it extremely close as possibly can. A blood grove would follow the spine of the blade on either side. It's Sheath is as black as the night time sky itself and is usually tied behind him on his belt. The blade's length is 10" in length with a slight curve to it and the handle is 4" in length.
-Shikai:
Taking on it's next form, it will turn into a six foot long shakujo {Pilgrim's Staff}. Like all of the Shakujo's, it has six rings, three on each side. But these rings has a sharp edge so that if swings it at someone and it hits, the rings will slash into the flesh of the person. The color won't be gold, but look more like cast Iron, Black.
-Bankai:
Upon the staff glowing to form into it's Bankai stage, the six rings would form into a foot and a half long blade which is fused to the bigger ring of the staff. Instead of wood, it will now look like black steel. But if someone is to touch the staff potion of the now staff spear, they will feel a very cold presence which will cause them to retract they're hand from it. In the dead center of the spear is two groves for his index and middle finger to rest on. But it has they're own purpose.
Each link of the Chain will have a sharp blade like edge, much like the rings in Shikai form. It is designed for when each chain link hit's a target, each link is to cut into the flesh of his opponent. He can switch the whip to be free form and loose to cause whip like strikes or he can lock the chain links to each other to form a 21 foot long chain blade to strike his foes and cause more damage upon each strike. If an opponent is to strike the chain blade, he can unlock the chains to wrap around the weapon and even around the opponent's arm, to trap them and dig the blades along the full length of the arm to the shoulder.
Spirit Description:
It's not really known as to what 'Abyss' looks like for his voice echoes out from the depths of a Black Hole in Space, consuming everything that it touches. What is known by Ki Yama, is that the spirit in the Void wants to destroy everything with it's touch and extinguish the very light in all life known. Usually will speak about how he will destroy his enemies or even the stars in the galaxy. That he is the Omega of All's destruction. That not even God's dare to look into the Void, in fear of what they might see inside. From time to time, the very faint sounds of souls screaming can be heard. A choir of men, women, and even creatures alike waling in pain. This increases for every spirit/ person Abyss devours while in Bankai. When it is heard, Abyss will start to laugh at those that have fallen to him as they cry out in they're darken Damnation. Abyss is the pinnacle of Ki's anger and frustrations that the Shinigami dares not show to anyone. To the spirits of the other Zanpaktou's that can speak to each other, they will feel a deep terror inside Ki's sword, one that is hungry, craving for more to consume.
Inner World:
Appearing in the middle of a hay field that spreads as far as the eye can see. The sky will be in the middle of crossing over from day into night, Twilight. Upon looking at the sky above, the sight of both the moon being Full rising and the Sun setting will be seen as Stars begins to shine through the fleeting day light. But one thing would be noticed and that is a Black hole directly up above the person. The scene of stars, planets, moons and even some Suns being Pulled into the Black hole, being twisted in the different dimensions of it until there is nothing left of the object that went inside. A swirling wind would be felt going up towards the sky as the person stands or lays there, looking up at Abyss who will be talking.

{The Bringing up of Yama, Ki.}
Ki Yama wasn't born into fame and glory. Wasn't raised in a clan to keep him safe from harms way. Ki Yama was dumped off at an orphanage in the bad section of North Rukongai. Where most of the children are on the streets trying to find things to do, if they weren't being picked on or even getting into fights. Ki was no exception. Being the smallest one around, it made him the easiest target for the bullies and thugs that roamed the streets. Not even the Orphanage was safe for him since most of the bullies lived inside of the Orphanage.
Stealing the meals he was given, the money he would find in the streets or take from unwary onlookers. The young Ki would grow up on the streets with a deep anger to those that picked on him and stole his belongings. At the age of 32, he found himself in the gambling Den, gambling and even learning how to fight. It was the greatest thing that he had learned since he was always aimed at for always being shorter then everyone else. As he grew older, he saw people that he grew up with either was killed off from crimes or they joined the Shinigami. So at the age of 100, he figured it was time for him to change his life style from his petty life of crime and make some good of it. On his way over, he would encounter two of the thugs that had tormentated him through out his years of growing up.
They had heard word on the streets that little Ki Yama was going to leave the world behind him and join up with the high and mighty Shinigami. So they're plan was to stop him by any means, even if it meant killing they're sport. Armed with a heavy branch and a knife, they began to advance towards Ki, going to either side of him so that he was surrounded. Ki had a walking stick with him and as he lifted it up, they struck. Rushing in at him, they would begin to attack him. Hitting him with the branch across his arm and a knife slice across his back as he tried to move with the blows. But Ki did strike back with quick hits of his walking stick and jabs with the ends of it. The fight went on for a good few hours. With destruction being laid before them as they crashed through different buildings such as the Gambling Den, private residences, and some stores.
With everyone getting tired and law enforcement was informed of what had happened, Ki needed to have this fight to end sooner then later. So when the leader with the knife came in to stab Ki in the chest, Ki slid a bit making the stab to get him in the shoulder. But it opened up for a strike of his own. Bringing the stick back, he rammed the tip of his walking stick in through the throat of the man. His body fell backwards trying to gasp for air and spewing blood out of his neck injury and out of his mouth, the big man with the branch dropped his improvised weapon and ran away. The law enforcement had approached the scene of the chaos and had arrested Ki Yama for what had happened. The leader died as they tried to treat his injuries. With so much that had happened and so many witnesses that needed to be questioned, a request was made that the 10th Division of the Gotei 13 to help with the investigation.
Sitting in his cell after he was beaten some to be forced to admit that he was the sole reason for the fight had broken out, and that he started the whole thing. Even his injury to his shoulder wasn't patched up and was left to bleed. The Bleeding had stopped by the time 10th Division had shown up to investigate on what all had happened and the one who was to interview the suspect, was no other but Captain Azerik Zaraki. Upon being asked what all had happened, Ki explained to the Captain that he was on his way to recruit into the Shinigami and go to the Academy. That he had wanted to change his life style for the better and that the thugs of the streets had caught wind of his plans and didn't want him to leave. That the fight was started by the thugs and that Ki was defending himself for the hours that had went by. That the reason why he killed the man was either it was kill or be killed and that he would rather live then to die by the hands of a street thug. His side of events then went on as well to explaining that the Law Enforcement was trying to make him to confess to a false story that he was the main suspect and was the one who started everything for no reason.
Sensing that the young man was telling the truth, he set Ki Yama free from all charges that he was being convicted with. The Captain would even escort him to the Academy so that there wasn't anymore incidents happening towards the soon be new recruit. His dreams of becoming a Shinigami was about to come true.

{Time in the Academy and the Incident.}
Inside the academy, he was one of the Majority of the class that came from the slums that wanted a better life for themselves. Those from the slums made up of 75% of the class while the remaining 25% was made up of the higher classes/ Nobles. Most of the time, the majority of the class stuck together while in training or studying. But Ki Yama, he had a hard time trusting people since a good portion of his life was dealt with cut throats and back stabbers. So when he had to train his Sword arts, hand to hand combat and Kidou arts, he was forced to partner up most of the time. But most instructors saw great potential in him and had put in recommendations for him to go into advanced courses of training. Half way through his training years of the academy, they had to fight and kill captured Hollows that Shinigami had brought to the Academy.
The beasts were hungry for fresh shinigami flesh and blood. When they entered the chamber, Ki had a bad feeling about it. As soon as the doors behind them were closed and sealed, the cages that held the beasts were opened, unleashing the miniature horde upon the students. All they're Instructors stood over head to watch the progress of they're students to see who would survive and who will fall in battle. It was to teach them of how to deal with Hollow in real time battle and to expect that not everyone would survive they're encounters with such beasts. In the initial five minutes of the clash, five of the students had died along with ten of the Hollows. As the battle heated up, the Shinigami students began to break away from each other making themselves easier targets for the Hollows. Ki Yama had took charge and began barking out orders to everyone that would hear his voice. That they needed to stick together and fight back to back together. That if they wanted to survive this, that they needed to work as a team, to work as a Squad. Screams of those that had fled away from the group were heard off in the distance, inside the dense fog. Then those sounds were replaced by the sounds of flesh and body parts being ripped from they're bodies were heard, causing those that were still standing to have blood to be chilled like ice from it, replacing they're courage with fear.
Eventually, a few of the members of the standing group ran off in such fear and panic. The sight of Hollows chasing after them inside the fog was seen and Ki couldn't allow anymore to die under his watch. Breaking from the group, he ran for them to find that they were surrounded by the bulk of the horde. One fell as he was sliced across they're leg. With his training in Kidou arts, he began to use different Hadou arts to drive a wedge through the hollows so that he could unite with those trapped. The first he used was Soukatsui(Blue Fire, Crash Down), then he followed it up immediately with Raikōhō(Thunder Roar Cannon). Each attack that was fired caused a gap to open up and gave him a great bit of distance made up to get to them. In a short bit of time, he was able to get to them and began to tell them to get back to back with each other and that they were going to fight they're way back to the main group. In the start of it, they were hesitant of the idea, but once they started to see that they were starting to move towards where the group was last seen at, they began to feel they're courage building back up again and was picking up the pace. Sounds of conflict was heard close by, so Ki Yama had spun the smaller group around so that he was now facing the back and towards the bulk of the horde. He began to unleash more Kidou arts and unleashed strikes from his Zanpaktou.
When they were close to the group was starting merge the two back together, Ki Yama was to be the last to merge in with the ranks of the others until he felt a sharp pain pierce through his stomach. Standing still, he looked down and saw a sharp pointed tail that looked like a blade was sticking five inches through him. It yanked out of him and he began to be attacked by the creatures again since he was still away from the group. His body was scratched, cut, bitten across his body. The wounds that he had sustained began to be corrupted by the power of the Hollows. But as fate would have it, he wouldn't turn. His body actually rejected this corruption in the form of some sort of an allergic reaction that caused his body to become weak. The instructors had broken the rest of the horde up and sent them back. To the students that survived, they hurried out as they rushed Ki to 4th Division. The flesh on his body began to get hot to the touch and he began to lose chunks of flesh and tissue to the fight of the corruption and the Allergic reaction. 4th Division was shocked that this was happening to him. It was as if the body's immune system was fighting the Corruption by having the infected area's to fall off of the body. Hooking his body up to machines, The captain, Vice Captain and a few others of the Medical corp began working on him.
With progress came with a cost. His body structure had become weaken and most of the scars he had sustained couldn't be fixed with surgery. They healed as best it could, but it left him disfigured and he missed his time to graduate with his original class. Fate had been cruel to the Young Ki Yama as he had to wear a specially made masks that covers up the injuries on his throat, cheeks and his jaw. His muscle structure went from muscular to that of a thin weak man.
But he was given another chance and had to work all that he had earned again. But this time around, with him being even more weaker then before, he focused most of his time in Kidou arts. In hopes he could learn some sort of Kidou art to give him his strength and appearance back to what it once was. When graduating day was coming, he hadn't learned much of what he had hoped. But he would graduate to become a Shinigami finally. With his new main focus on Kidou and Reiatsu control, his abilities were best founded to be part of the Kidou Corp which were lacking greatly from over the years of battles that the Shinigami had endured over the years. But even after all the treatments he had went through, his body still aches and pains still jolt's through him. Even nightmares plagues him to even this day of his life, leaving him bitter in secret towards those that are more normal compared to him and his state of his body.

Learning more of the arts and training others, he was noted to be highly gifted with a high Reiatsu level that could be compared to that of a Captain rank Shinigami. Making him a lethal yet necessary component to the Gotei 13. He began to raise through the ranks as he and most of his brothers and sisters went out on missions, to aid in key battles and skirmishes.
Upon returning from the latest skirmish with the Arrancar, Kidou corp was not like the other divisions. They had lost great numbers that left them near crippled. He was now put in as the Acting captain for the Kidou corp since they're Captain and Lieutenant never returned from the battle. Being third seat, he was placed in his own office/ study. Upon request, he had the room sound proofed so that no one from the outside could hear him at night time wrecking the room and screaming out in pain from everything, with all the hate that has been built inside of him.
No one would expect this of him since he kept this to himself in his own time. By daylight, the room would be put back to how it was. Items would be either be repaired or just full out replaced and made as if he was just tired of the look of certain objects or was done with certain books. This is where we pick up on Ki's story.

His Zanpaktou would be the form of a Tanto/ Japaneses Dagger. The wrapping around the handle would be a Chestnut brown color. He choose the Tanto design for he would rather not get into a melee match with someone and if he had no other choice, he would rather keep it extremely close as possibly can. A blood grove would follow the spine of the blade on either side. It's Sheath is as black as the night time sky itself and is usually tied behind him on his belt. The blade's length is 10" in length with a slight curve to it and the handle is 4" in length.

-Shikai:
Taking on it's next form, it will turn into a six foot long shakujo {Pilgrim's Staff}. Like all of the Shakujo's, it has six rings, three on each side. But these rings has a sharp edge so that if swings it at someone and it hits, the rings will slash into the flesh of the person. The color won't be gold, but look more like cast Iron, Black.

Upon the staff glowing to form into it's Bankai stage, the six rings would form into a foot and a half long blade which is fused to the bigger ring of the staff. Instead of wood, it will now look like black steel. But if someone is to touch the staff potion of the now staff spear, they will feel a very cold presence which will cause them to retract they're hand from it. In the dead center of the spear is two groves for his index and middle finger to rest on. But it has they're own purpose.

. If he adds pressure to the middle finger grove, then every foot and a half, the Staff will unlock to reveal chains, which holds the pieces of the staff together. The staff will then grew in length with the chain by triple it's original form (21 feet), able to use it as a whip with the spear head or to be able to use the different section's of the staff in combat by redirecting each section to where he needs them by holding them, striking and moving himself. But if he pushes in both the groves at the same time, the Staff will detach into two sections. One half will have the blade of the spear while the other half of the staff will have the 21 foot long chain, where he will then use both in a mix up of Long range and close up strikes. It is designed for when each chain link hit's a target, each link is to cut into the flesh of his opponent. He can switch the whip to be free form and loose to cause whip like strikes or he can lock the chain links to each other to form a 21 foot long chain blade to strike his foes and cause more damage upon each strike. If an opponent is to strike the chain blade, he can unlock the chains to wrap around the weapon and even around the opponent's arm, to trap them and dig the blades along the full length of the arm to the shoulder.

Spirit Description:
It's not really known as to what 'Abyss' looks like for his voice echoes out from the depths of a Black Hole in Space, consuming everything that it touches. What is known by Ki Yama, is that the spirit in the Void wants to destroy everything with it's touch and extinguish the very light in all life known. Usually will speak about how he will destroy his enemies or even the stars in the galaxy. That he is the Omega of All's destruction. That not even God's dare to look into the Void, in fear of what they might see inside. From time to time, the very faint sounds of souls screaming can be heard. A choir of men, women, and even creatures alike waling in pain. This increases for every spirit/ person Abyss devours while in Bankai. When it is heard, Abyss will start to laugh at those that have fallen to him as they cry out in they're darken Damnation. Abyss is the pinnacle of Ki's anger and frustrations that the Shinigami dares not show to anyone. To the spirits of the other Zanpaktou's that can speak to each other, they will feel a deep terror inside Ki's sword, one that is hungry, craving for more to consume.

Inner World:
Appearing in the middle of a hay field that spreads as far as the eye can see. The sky will be in the middle of crossing over from day into night, Twilight. Upon looking at the sky above, the sight of both the moon being Full rising and the Sun setting will be seen as Stars begins to shine through the fleeting day light. But one thing would be noticed and that is a Black hole directly up above the person. The scene of stars, planets, moons and even some Suns being Pulled into the Black hole, being twisted in the different dimensions of it until there is nothing left of the object that went inside. A swirling wind would be felt going up towards the sky as the person stands or lays there, looking up at Abyss who will be talking.
