1943 Captain America makes his first appearance as a stage show he soon became an unexpected phenomenon when he finally joined the war helping the United States Allied front battle the Nazi's and HYDRA. He managed to stop the Red Skull at the cost of his life because of his help the Allies managed to win the war. What should have been a time to recover and mourn those that were lost were pushed to the side when it was learned HYDRA wasn't finished, they were looking to find new ways to use the Cosmic Cube. This started a quiet arms race as governments researched both technology and the arcane in order to produce their own super-powered soldiers. The Russians doubled down on the Red Room Academy, the United Kingdom focused on the Brythonic legends of their islands.
Amidst this race reports were coming in of Mediterranean sailors claiming to see a mysterious, disappearing island inhabited solely by women, a man who could burst into flame and, amazingly, remain unharmed, a railroad worker being saved by a simple glowing lantern, and even a photograph of an unknown strongman lifting a car over his head in the city of Metropolis. Before anyone could find out who they were, however a new problem has arisen in the form of the Asgardians they have arrived in a not so secret manner they want the world to know they were here and they were looking for the cube. Will the earth give up such a powerful weapon? Or will there be an all out war between mortals and gods? What will happen to the new superhuman's that are appearing? The choice is yours and yours alone to make in Marvel/DC Dawn Of A New Age.
