Behind her intelligent, calm, and cold exterior lies a few concealed traits, most prominently sadism. No one knew where her red hair came from, but over time, no one questioned her red hair, nor the awkward tension that she creates whenever someone see's her not speaking, as if the air itself was lethal. She was very smart and beautiful amongst the women in the village, but by her own request, no one gossiped of her to outsiders. She did not care for the unnecessary attention, trying to pass by as a simple seamstress like her mother, but came to be known as a popular figure for her talents and abilities to solve problems from torn clothes to salvaging nearly ruined festivals, she began unable to hide in the shadows of her village. One day, while she was approaching her twenties, a passing noble overheard children speak of her. He became intrigued by Asuna/Hisana and soon found her, only to want to make her his wife. Much to his shock, she rejected, saying it was not in her interest. He soon exercised his authority only to no avail. He left and returned alone in the night, while she was singing to herself while weaving a dark red kimono. She ignored all his attempts to win her over, however the second he tried to strike her, she countered by stabbing her needle into his wrist, slowly piercing his flesh before telling him off and he left. Life went quietly on until one day when she returned from bathing in the river, she found her village in flames. There were no survivors, and in the end the noble she rejected before came back, and proceeded to force her to watch. At the lack of sadness, he began to be confused, while she gazed at her home's destruction as if it were no more than a broken tool, ready to discard. He began to stab her unaware she was doing the same thing with a needle in her hand to his eye, both dying. He by a needle straight through the eye, and ending in the brain, she by a dagger to the heart, both slow deaths.
Reborn in the Rukongai as Hisana Abari, she had no difficulty adjusting, as if she had no standards to base off of. Although her memories were gone, her soul retained sense memory of her skills acquired. For the first year, she spent trying to learn whatever she could in the rukongai, power, system, ins and outs, and any other useful information. She attempted to avoid the Shinigami, seeing them as a flawed and otherwise pointless organization that would be a hindrance for the meanwhile. Eventually she started to work for a seamstress, where she was able to lay silent for half a decade, fighting off men that came unto her. producing elegant work, until she started to realize where to gain power. She wanted to be a Shinigami, but had no knowledge of how to become one. One day. a man was aggressively asking for her hand in marriage, but as he through a punch she instinctively stabbed him with needles. A nearby Shinigami, impressed by her reaction, recruited her into the academy.
Since joining the Academy, Hisana pretended to be a caring, flirtatious person, while trying to weed out the students and staff to determine who and what would be of use to her. What caught her interest the most were hollows, she found it interesting that the souls gained power by corruption. During a trip to the mortal world, she encountered a hollow for the first time and took it lightly, examining the beast with each strike. It seemed as though she lacked the power from someone else's perspective, until she was done with it and gave a lethal blow. After graduating, she soon joined the 12th division, where she devoted herself to studying hollows and other spirits. She always told people that she wanted to find another weakness, her research went unnoticed for the most part,except by one, Azerik Zaraki. She saw him as both her greatest threat and only friend as she knew that her interest in hollows might set him off to her long term plans. After meeting Azerik, she began to let her true personalit show as she played a game of suspicion and deceit with him. While on the surface they appeared to be decent colleagues and friends to an extent over the years.
As she learned her zanpakuto's name and gained a seated position, the highest she ever gained was fifth after Azerik vacated that seat. In a fight, her patience and viciousness was her edge, Eventually she was running out of time as she suspected Azerik was figuring out her plot, so she developed a plan, she proposed an experiment to reduce an arrancar back into a hollow. After approval, she was the only one going on the mission, taking specialized tech with her. However before she left the seireiteI forever, she carefully wounded a jigokuchõ that would die as soon as it delivered it's message as she sent it to tell Azerik the truth, but die before it can be used as proof. While in the world of the living, she tracked down an arrancar, buthe only subdued it and stole it's zanpakuto. Using a strange pedastol like device, she left the zanpakuto of the arrancar rest there as it was drained of it's hollow Reiryoku. Eventually it crumbled to dust as a needle like device came out, and before entering her gigai she stabbed herself with it and killed the arrancar.
After going into hiding, she spent her time loosely associated with VizCorp as she spent her time training in America. After years of training and missions, she earned a seat on the council only to find herself an Elder.

-Shikai: the blade turns into sand, leaving the hilt to control sand and bend it to it's wielder's will.
-Bankai: Baku no ketsu: by dropping blade into ground, the ground converts into red sand (at 1 square feet per rei) that can be bent by the users will alone. The red sand is heated, causing elemental damage.
-Mask: a white, jackal headed egyptian themed mask similar to anubis with a crimson trim.

-Zanpaktou: A golden skin, silver hair, and attire resembling an egyptian priestess. She has a holier-than-thou attitude and generally doesn't like giving praise even when it's due.
-Inner Hollow: a shadow , anubis figure. No details can be made out other than it's spear, shape,or red eyes. It speaks in a deep voice albeit it's locativery nature.
Inner World: A desert at dawn by a pyramid, the light reflects red upon the sand

Sun slash - (Shikai + bankai) by slashing towards the target, a crescent wave of sand launches shoots forward.
Whip - (Shikai) the sand thins into a rope-like state and condensing into a whip.
Divine Shield - (Shikai + bankai) forms a shield out of sand in Shikai but forms a wall in bankai
Arena of Gods - (bankai) forms a pyramid of all the sand around the wielder, forming an enclosed arena. Max size is equal to the area of sand but cannot be smaller than 75 square feet.
Passive Abilities: Heated Sand - (BANKAI) deals damage based on attack vs opposing Reiatsu (opponents with 100 more Reiatsu than attack take normal damage)

Pinpoint strike: unlike other weapons, sewing needles are designed for fine strikes, these needles in hisana's hands can be used to strike nerves, weak points in clothes, armor, etc.
